Description
Comprehensive Female Profile I
An integrated hormone panel for women that assesses reproductive hormones,
adrenal function, and thyroid health.
What does this test measure?
Saliva samples are used to measure key female hormones (estradiol,
progesterone, testosterone), adrenal DHEA-S, and diurnal cortisol (4 samples)
to gauge the stress response. In parallel, a finger-prick blood spot measures
thyroid function (TSH, Free T3, Free T4) and thyroid autoantibodies (TPOab).
Who is this test most suitable for?
- Women approaching menopause
- Women under high stress (impacting cycles)
- Those on or considering hormone therapy or thyroid medication
Clinical Use
This combination test provides a comprehensive view of a woman’s endocrine
system – how ovarian hormones are balancing (for fertility or menopause
concerns), whether adrenal stress is present, and if thyroid dysfunction
co-exists. It is commonly used for evaluating menstrual irregularities,
perimenopausal symptoms, or unexplained fatigue, capturing multiple hormonal
axes in one profile.
