Description
xMAP® IgG Food MAP with Candida + Yeast
A comprehensive blood test that measures IgG antibody reactivity to 190 common
food antigens plus Candida albicans and brewer’s yeast (Saccharomyces) using
advanced xMAP® multiplex bead array technology. Unlike immediate IgE allergic
reactions, IgG food sensitivities represent delayed immune responses that may
contribute to chronic inflammation and symptoms affecting multiple body
systems. The test helps identify specific dietary triggers and potential yeast
overgrowth by detecting elevated IgG antibodies, providing personalized
insights for targeted dietary interventions and gut health management.
What does this test measure?
This test measures IgG antibody levels against 190 commonly consumed foods
including dairy, gluten, eggs, grains, fruits, vegetables, nuts, meats, and
food additives, plus antibodies against Candida albicans and brewer’s yeast.
The xMAP® technology uses color-coded microscopic beads coated with antigens,
allowing simultaneous measurement of all antibodies in a single sample through
laser-based detection and flow cytometry analysis.

Clinical Use
This test provides practitioners with evidence-based data to create
personalized elimination diets and targeted treatment plans. Results help
identify specific food triggers that may be contributing to chronic
inflammation, digestive issues, skin conditions, and other persistent
symptoms. The yeast antibody component assists in assessing potential fungal
overgrowth and guiding appropriate antifungal interventions when necessary.
The comprehensive panel supports integrative approaches to managing conditions
where dietary factors and gut health play significant roles.
