Description
Comprehensive Female Profile II
A comprehensive women’s health panel that expands on Profile I.
What does this test measure?
It measures a broader array of hormones, especially via blood spot. In this
panel, saliva is used solely for a four-point cortisol assessment (adrenal
stress), while the dried blood spot covers: the full suite of female sex
hormones including all three estrogens (E1, E2, E3), progesterone,
testosterone, DHEA-S, plus Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG, which
influences free hormone levels), along with a complete thyroid panel (TSH,
Free T3, Free T4, TPO antibodies).
Who is this test most suitable for?
- Women on hormone replacement therapy (monitoring efficacy)
- Women with known thyroid issues
- High stress lifestyles that could affect hormones
Clinical Use
This extensive test is designed for women with complex hormonal symptoms—for
example, perimenopausal women on bioidentical hormone therapy, or those with
combined issues like estrogen dominance and thyroid autoimmunity. It gives a
nuanced picture, such as differentiating levels of each estrogen and
  evaluating thyroid autoimmunity (Hashimoto’s).
